International Theatre Workshop of “Commedia dell’Arte”
We are currently organizing the fourth edition of our International Theatre Workshop of “Commedia dell’Arte” between 25th June to 4th July 2020: this year's theme is "Amorous Intrigues"
During these wonderful and busy days actors, mainly young school-leavers, could meet some theatre masters of Commedia dell’Arte and Masks’ theatre and find out about this noble art which has marked the beginning of the “Teatro Moderno” and of the acting profession in Europe and Western culture.
Besides Claudio de Maglio, the director of the School and international expert in “Commedia dell ’Arte”prestigious international guest teachers, among them Marco Sgrosso, Stefano Perocco di Meduna, Elena Bucci, Carlo Boso, have confirmed their participation.
It will be a moment of study, training and also of celebration of theatre. We warmly invite all trainee actors and all last year students to take part in these intensive days.
As this event will be self-funding, we need to receive the presumable participants' list so that we can organize the event in the best way. The cost is € 350,00 for the whole workshop, a special fee only for theatre's school students.
Upon request, we can provide accommodation in hotels both for individuals and groups at around € 40 per night.

A ten-days workshop dedicated to the Commedia dell'Arte where you can apply to masterclasses held by renowned 'maestri', such as Marco Sgrosso, Claudio de Maglio, Elena Bucci, Carlo Boso, Stefano Perocco di Meduna: the Commedia dell’Arte main characters, improvisation, and composition, how to make a leather mask, and much more!
