we are proud to introduce you the second edition of our International Theatre Workshop of “Commedia dell’Arte” 2018: conflict between the characters of Master and Servant... between 25th June to 30th June 2018.
During these wonderful and busy days actors, mainly young school-leavers, could meet some theatre masters of Commedia dell’Arte and Masks’ theatre and find out about this noble art which has marked the beginning of the “Teatro Moderno” and of the acting profession in Europe and Western culture. This coming second edition will focus the pivotal theme of the eternal conflict between the characters of Master and Servant...
Apart from Claudio de Maglio, the director of the School and international expert in “Commedia dell’Arte”, there will also be other prestigious international guest teachers who will contribute with their competences, among them Carlo Boso, Marco Sgrosso, and Marco Manchisi.
It will be a moment of study, training and also of celebration of theatre. We warmly invite all trainee actors who have at least two years of experience gained before July 2018 and all last year students who wish to take part in these intensive days of theatre.
As this event will be self-funding, we need to receive the total number of prospective participants so that we can organise the event fully.
The cost is € 350 for the whole week workshops; whole week workshops + accommodation included: € 600 (seven days).
There is no need to make a reservation, but please note that we need to receive the presumed number of enrollments as soon as possible and no later then 31st May 2018, so that we can send the details and organise the event as best possible.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
